Common Drops "Stay Schemin" Remix Drake Diss, Beef Heats Up Between Drake and Common

The internet has been buzzing since last week about a possible subliminal diss record by Drake towards Common. The aforementioned track, titled "Stay Schemin", appears on Rick Ross's "Rich Forever" mixtape, which was released last Friday. On "Stay Schemin", Drake subliminally takes shots towards the Chi-town rapper by stating, "Don't be ducking like you never wanted nothin'/It's feeling like rap changed, it was a time it was rugged/Back when if a nigga reached, it was for the weapon/Nowadays niggas reach just to sell their record."

These lines come in response to Common's song "Sweet", a track aimed at the fallacy of singing rappers, stating, "You ain't motherfuckin Frank Sinatra." Common has already issued a response, made public today, in the form of a remix to the original record by Ross and Drake...

Common, who is no stranger to direct and to the point lyrics, begins his verse by exclaiming, "My motto is Chicago bitch/ Everybody know you sweet, what the problem is/ Don't play dumb, I'm the one that acknowledged it/ Son of a bitch, imagine what your father is." Since it's release earlier today, Common's diss has already spawned numerous trending topics such as: #Drakediss, #Common, and #Canadadry.

"It's the remix. Rick Ross, Common, and that hoe ass nigga."

Common exploits Drake's lack of street credibility throughout his verse, making a reference to Drake's line "You gone fuck around and make me catch a body like that" and responding with "Don't do it, 'cause every song you makin Joe is really hoe music". To add insult to injury, Common also brings attention to Drake's questionable ethnicity stating, “Can’t say my name, but rap about a nigga’s wife/ You so black and white tryna live a nigga’s life."

Common finishes off his verbal assault with a rather playful but effective jab at the Toronto rapper's geological background exclaiming, "I’m talking to long with this amateur guy/ You ain’t wettin’ nobody nigga, you Canada Dry.”

Drake recently referenced their feud to a California crowd, stating, "I don't give a fuck if you got something to say to me. Say it to my motherfuckin' face, nigga. Just cause I sing I'm not no bitch. So if you got something to say, I'm right here."

So there you have it. Who do you think will come out on top between the two rappers? You can download the track below.
