2010 Soul Train Music Awards






On Sunday, November 28, 2010, Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson hosted the 2010 Soul Train Music Awards at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, GA. This year’s biggest winners were Alicia Keys and Usher. In addition, Goapele, Chrisette Michele, Tamia, Faith Evans, Kem, Rachelle Ferrell, Lalah Hathaway, and Dionne Farris paid tribute to legendary songstress Anita Baker. After the tribute to Baker, Eric Benet, El DeBarge, Freddie Jackson, Jeffrey Osbourne, Peabo Bryson and Keyshia Cole paid homage to Mr. (“Who’s That Lady,” “Between the Sheets,” “For the Love of You,” “Footsteps in the Dark,”) Ron Isley.

*Best reggae artist: Gyptian
*Centric Award: Janelle Monae
*Best gospel performance: Marvin Sapp
*Best dance performance: Ciara, "Ride"
