T.I. Drug Case Thrown Out By D.A.

It appears that the self-proclaimed "King of the South" may have once again escaped a brush with the law. The L.A. County District Attorney's office has decided to toss the drug case stemming from T.I.'s arrest early last month. This is the same case that led to his recent 11 month sentence for violating probation. On September 1, T.I. and his wife, Tiny, were arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance. Originally thought to be marijuana, the substance was later revealed to have possibly been ecstasy . The District Attorney office advised that they decided not to pursue the case since T.I. will already face prison time due to his arrest being a violation of his federal probation. While this new development won't overturn his current prison sentence, it will at least prevent him from having other legal problems to worry about.
